You've tried setting calendar reminders, or blocking off a fixed amount of hours a week or have asked a friend to hold you accountable.

Yet still, your mind finds an excuse not to start - or stick to - your goal; "it's not the right time; life is too busy; I'm too tired; I don't feel confident; what if I change my mind?; I'll do it next year."

How does it work?
Get Out of Your Own Way is a 12-week accountability coaching programme delivered online, with weekly live group sessions and a private Whatsapp group.
Start Mon 2 March 2026. Weekly group call is on Wednesdays: UK 7pm / CET 8pm / EST 2pm / PST 11am (Google Meet)
Plus scheduled Whatsapp check-ins through the week.
Participants join from all over the world. This is an English-speaking group. If you miss a week, no problem.

The structure is consistent and simple, allowing you to focus on your own process without feeling overwhelmed.

Each online group meeting includes space to check in, reflect honestly on your commitments and decide on one realistic action for the week ahead. Alongside this, you’ll receive coaching support around mindset, confidence, boundaries, procrastination and self-talk; all of which directly affect your ability to follow through.

What results can I expect from a 12-week accountability programme?
While results vary, many participants report increased consistency, clearer priorities, improved confidence, reduced procrastination and a stronger sense of self-trust. The aim is not only to make progress on a specific goal, but to develop skills and habits that continue beyond the programme.
What “getting in your own way” often looks like
Getting in your own way shows up as delaying the next step, waiting to feel more confident, making goals bigger than they need to be, or being overly self-critical when things don’t go to plan.

These patterns aren’t flaws. They’re learned responses... and they can be changed. Through accountability coaching, you begin to understand why these patterns appear and how to work with them, rather than fighting against yourself. And you finally start to get things done.

Accountability coaching focuses on what happens between intention and action. This programme exists to support you through that gap with coaching, structure and consistent accountability.

Any goal will fit this framework:
researching a business idea or new career, losing weight,
writing your personal story, clearing out your home; everything works
why accountability groups work
Studies by the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) indicate that regular accountability check-ins can increase goal achievement dramatically,
with reported success rates reaching up to 95%.
Structure & Consistency
Regular, scheduled check-ins provide a dedicated time to update on progress, prevent procrastination and feel momentum.
Confidence & Motivation
Taking small and regular action steps creates self trust, self belief and confidence. Weekly evidence of your progress is incredibly motivating. This is accountability that builds self-trust, not fear of letting others down.
Action
Group dynamic and energy motivate you to take action for yourself. Momentum builds and taking action becomes easier and enjoyable.
Support & Community
You stay connected and encouraged without pressure to perform. Being around like-minded individuals provides a safe space for sharing challenges and celebrating wins, reducing the isolation of going it alone. We are a compassionate group; no guilt or shame.
Clarity
Your ideas and goals stop living in your head and benefit from structure and planning. Each action step quickly feels simpler and more manageable.
Expert Guidance
Every week I share coaching techniques to help you break goals into manageable actions, overcome blockages and help you understand why you get stuck and how to move forward more easily.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a clear goal before joining?
No. You do not need a perfectly defined goal before joining the programme. Many people gain clarity through the accountability process. The programme helps participants identify one meaningful focus and break it down into manageable steps, rather than expecting everything to be clear from the start.
What happens if I miss a group session or I don’t follow through one week?
Not following through is treated as information, not failure. The programme is designed to explore what got in the way and adjust accordingly. Accountability coaching focuses on curiosity and self-understanding rather than guilt or pressure. Falling off track is a normal part of behaviour change and is built into the process. This is how sustainable change actually happens.
You don’t fall out of the process because you struggle - the process exists for those moments.
Is this programme about productivity or mindset?
It is both. The programme supports practical follow-through while also addressing mindset, self-talk, confidence and habits. Many people struggle to get things done not because they lack ability, but because of internal blocks. Combining accountability with mindset coaching creates more sustainable change.

Can accountability coaching help with confidence and self-trust?
Yes. One of the biggest outcomes of accountability coaching is increased self-trust. When people consistently follow through on small commitments, confidence naturally grows. Over time, participants begin to see themselves as someone who can be relied upon, which positively affects many areas of life.

Can I join from outside the UK?
Yes. The programme is delivered online and is open to participants from the UK, US and Europe. Sessions are designed to be accessible across time zones, and the core structure works globally.

What is an accountability programme?
An accountability programme is a structured form of support that helps people follow through on goals by creating clarity, consistency and external accountability. Instead of relying on motivation alone, participants commit to small, realistic actions and regularly check in on progress. Coach-led accountability programmes also address mindset, confidence and self-belief, not just tasks.

How does accountability coaching work?
Accountability coaching works by combining regular check-ins, clear commitments and reflection. Each week, participants decide what they will work on, report honestly on what happened, and choose their next action. A coach helps identify patterns such as procrastination, overthinking or self-doubt, and supports participants to stay consistent without shame or pressure.
What makes a coach-led accountability programme different from peer accountability?
In a coach-led accountability programme, a qualified coach holds the structure and guides the process. This creates a safer, more effective environment than peer-led accountability, where people may avoid honesty or feel pressure to perform. A coach helps participants understand why they get stuck, not just whether they completed tasks.
How much time does the programme require each week?
The live group session lasts approximately one hour per week. Outside of the session, participants commit to one realistic action that fits into their existing life. The programme is designed for busy people and prioritises consistency over intensity.
Is this suitable if I work full-time or have caring responsibilities?
Yes. The programme is intentionally structured to support people with full schedules. Weekly commitments are small and realistic, and the focus is on progress rather than perfection. Accountability is adapted to real life, not an ideal routine.
Is this therapy or life coaching?
This is a coaching-based accountability programme, not therapy. The focus is on present goals, habits and behaviour change rather than processing past trauma. While emotional insight may arise, the programme is practical, forward-focused and action-oriented
